Study abroad

Mail a signed form to a U.S. address while studying abroad

If you are abroad and a U.S. office says "print, sign, and mail," you can still send it without finding a printer. Sign the form, scan to a PDF, and PostalForm will print and mail it to a U.S. address.

How it works

Step 1

Sign the form

Complete all fields and sign where required.

Step 2

Scan into one PDF

Put the signed form first, then attachments behind it.

Step 3

Upload and mail

Enter the recipient address, review the total, and send.

You're in the right place if...

  • You are studying abroad and need to mail a signed form back to the U.S.
  • The recipient will not accept e-signatures or portal uploads.
  • You have multiple pages or attachments and want them mailed as one packet.

Checklist before you mail

  • All signature and date fields are completed.
  • Your name / ID (or account number) is on the first page or cover note.
  • Attachments are included (if required).
  • The mailing address is the program/department address (not a generic headquarters address).

Cover note template (optional)

Date: [Month Day, Year]
To: [Recipient / Department]
Re: [Form name / Account / Student ID]
Enclosed: [Signed form + attachments list]
Contact: [Name, phone, email]

Scanning tips (so your signature prints clearly)

  • Use a dark pen (black or dark blue).
  • Scan in good lighting with the full page visible (no cut-off corners).
  • Review at full page size before uploading to confirm it is readable.
  • Keep all pages in one PDF so they print in the right order.

Wet signature vs "original paper"

PostalForm prints the signed page exactly as you upload it. If a recipient requires the physical original paper sheet (rare but possible), you will need to mail that physical original. When in doubt, confirm the recipient's requirements.

What you get

  • • Mail signed forms without a printer
  • • Single PDF upload for clean packets
  • • Address validation to reduce returns
  • • We print, prepare, and hand off your mail to the appropriate carrier
