Where to send your cancellation letter
Equinox membership terms describe multiple cancellation methods:
- In person: At any club in your membership class.
- Mail: By certified or registered U.S. mail to:

- (They note your cancellation notice must include your full name, membership ID number, and contact information.)
- Email: To Cancellations@Equinox.com or Concierge@Equinox.com.
- Phone: For cancellations after the initial period, by calling Equinox Concierge.
If you cancel by mail, keep a copy of your signed letter and your proof of mailing/delivery.

How to mail a gym cancellation letter
- Confirm the cancellation method and notice period in your membership agreement.
- Address the letter to the correct location (often your home club or a cancellation department).
- Sign the letter and keep a copy.
- Mail it early enough to meet any billing cutoff dates.
- Save tracking and delivery confirmation if you need proof.
Tracking and proof of delivery
USPS Certified Mail can document carrier acceptance and delivery or attempted-delivery events. PostalForm can mail your cancellation request with tracking options, but those records do not prove the gym accepted or completed the cancellation. Obtain written confirmation from the gym.
