The signed contract and controlling jurisdiction may impose a short deadline and exact requirements for the notice, signer, recipient, address, and delivery method. A generic template may omit a required term or direct the notice incorrectly.

Review the contract's cancellation section immediately and obtain qualified advice when the deadline or method is uncertain. Do not use an older PostalForm template as a substitute for the controlling instructions.
