Urgent mailing

Mail a document today

Upload a PDF or write a letter online. Qualifying U.S. Expedited mailings submitted before 11:45 AM Eastern (9:45 AM for Rush Express) on a business day can sometimes be printed and handed to USPS the same business day; later Express orders usually reach USPS by the next business day.

  • Qualifying U.S. Expedited orders submitted before 11:45 AM Eastern (9:45 AM for Rush Express) may qualify for same-business-day processing.
  • First-Class Mail and Certified Mail orders usually reach USPS within 1-3 business days.
  • Express mailing options are available at checkout for time-sensitive documents.
  • Delivery timing depends on the selected USPS service and destination.
  • Same-business-day processing is not same-day delivery.

Quick facts

  • Best for: urgent letters, signed documents, deadline packets, and forms that need fast USPS handoff
  • Cutoff: submit a qualifying U.S. Expedited order before 11:45 AM Eastern (9:45 AM for Rush Express) on a business day for same-business-day processing eligibility
  • Fast option: Express mailing, shown at checkout when available
  • Coverage: Supported destination countries; same-day USPS handoff applies only to qualifying U.S. Express mail
  • Proof: Certified Mail is available with First-Class Mail, not Express

What same-business-day processing means

Same-business-day processing means PostalForm can print, prepare, and hand off qualifying mailings to USPS the same business day when the order is submitted before the cutoff. USPS controls transit and delivery after acceptance.

This is different from same-day delivery. PostalForm is not a courier service, and USPS delivery timing depends on the selected service, destination, weekends, holidays, and postal operations.

Before the 11:45 AM Eastern cutoff

Use this option when the mailing task cannot wait:

  • A signed document needs to leave today.
  • A form packet is close to a deadline.
  • A letter needs faster USPS handling than First-Class Mail.
  • You do not have time to print, buy postage, or visit the post office.

Upload the final PDF if you already have it. If the letter is still being drafted, use the plain-letter flow and choose a fast mailing option during checkout.

Pricing

Pricing depends on page count, print options, and the selected USPS service. Express and other fast mailing options cost more than First-Class Mail. The exact total is shown before payment.

PostalForm U.S. First-Class mailing for one black-and-white document page plus the address page starts at $3.40. Certified Mail adds $8.00; Electronic Return Receipt adds $3.00 to Certified Mail. Your document, print choices, destination, and delivery options determine the checkout total. See the full pricing matrix.

Which mailing option and proof should you choose?

PostalForm offers U.S. letter mailing with different delivery and proof options. First-Class suits routine correspondence; Certified Mail adds mailing and delivery records, and Electronic Return Receipt adds a downloadable signature record. Expedited delivery prioritizes speed. Review the destination, estimated dates, total price, and required proof before paying.
